Best Giving Practices

The word Give is mentioned approximately 1400 times in the bible. The word Receive is mentioned only 350 times. The book of Deuteronomy has the most occurrence of the word "Give". This Book is the final part of the people of God's Journey out of captivity, with them being on the the verge of the promise land. This gives me an indication that in order to come out of our wilderness into the promised land, we have to change our focus to being more "Giving".

2nd Corinthians 2:7 7 Let each man do according as he hath purposed in his heart: not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God Love a cheerful giver.

Q. How do you know when you are ready to Give?

A. When you give out of love. Not just because the church has bills. When you have made a “Secret” commitment between you and God as to the amount you are willing to give. Whether it be 5% 10% 20% or 100%. Your tithe is what you purpose in your heart to give. When you are happy and satisfied with your giving, and have no guilt or grudge about the amount coupled with have faith, God will receive your gift

1 Corinthians 13:3 And tho I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

You are wasting your money;

When you give only because it is required, When you brag about how much you give, When you are unhappy with how much you give, when you don’t believe that God will bless you. I would encourage you, DO NOT GIVE UNDER THESE CONDITIONS.!
